The Rockingham Opportunities Corporation (ROC) is a private non-profit corporation. ROC was established in 1965 for the purpose of developing, expediting and operating services for those with mental retardation and other developmental disabilities.
ROC plays a significant role in the public/private partnership that formed in Rockingham County with the NC Division of Mental Health/Developmental Disabilities/Substance Abuse Services, the NC Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services, Rockingham Community College and Rockingham County.
ROC is committed to the concepts of collaboration and integration of people, resources and facilities. Evidence of the programs operated by ROC is seen in our communities and surrounding areas. ____________________________________________________________________
